I had met Blake and Natasha two years ago at the wedding of Michael and Amber. Blake contacted me just a few months later to hire me for his wedding the following year down in Rogers Minnesota. They were, by far the most inviting, charming, and honest couple I have worked with for the past ten years. Most of the groomsmen I had worked with before during Amber and Michael’s wedding, and it was just like meeting up with old friends. We danced the night away until the wee hours of the morning before bidding them goodnight and a bright and happy future.

Steph + Allan | December 31st, 2014 | Hawley Wedding Photography
Stephanie and Allen were my last wedding of 2014. What a fantastic year! They had a beautiful rustic wedding near rural Hawley MN. We had some bitter cold move in, but I was able to coax them outside for a few shots as the sun set for the last time in 2014, and got some wonderful images of the two of them.

Rebecca + Rich | October 25, 2014 | Casselton Wedding Photography
Rebecca and Rich had a beautiful ceremony in Rebecca’s home town of Casserole, North Dakota. St. Leo’s Catholic church is a gem on the prairie, a beautiful church with fantastic brick work, and some very neat light to play with. Their reception at the Holiday Inn in Fargo ND was beautiful, and packed to capacity with family and friends celebrating their crisp fall wedding.

After the ceremony, Amanda & Dustin headed to an intimate recpetion with family and friends at O’Kelly’s in Fargo.

Karley + Brady | September 3, 2011 | Wahpeton Wedding Photography
Carley and Brady picked the perfect day to get married! The September was cool, but not cold, and otherwise perfect to shoot outdoors. We started outside at the Chahinkapa Park and Boise de Sioux golf course, and worked our way back to historic St. John’s Church in Whapeton ND to photograph formals with family and friends.
St. Johns was a gorgeous space to work in, with some absolutely stunning stained glass work adorning the church, and a magnificent open, airy space. After a full catholic ceremony, Karley and Brady took their family in a Double Decker bus over to the Wahpeton Community Center, to spend an evening surrounded by family and friends.

Sara and Josh are the third couple I’ve had the honor of photographing at the gorgeous Ramada in Fargo. They are the second wedding that I’ve shot where both the ceremony and reception were held at the Hotel.
We snuck away briefly to make the most of a wonderfull summer day, and took some excellent shots overlooking a man-made lake in West Fargo ND. -

Amy & Craig | February 16, 2008
I waited a good week to write this one, because when you shoot a wedding, the perception of a situation becomes grossly distorted from it’s reality.
For instance, I though I had completly bungled the shoot.
I’m a pro, I can admit that I had a bad day, and after all that’s what this blog is for. I want my clients to understand my approach. And bad days are better judges of character then good days.
At the time, I thought I COMPLETLY bungled the wedding. There were a number of distractions during the day which were really fraying my nerves.
1. My car was giving me issues. We had gotten freezing rain the night before, and for some odd reason, my car door WOULD NOT STAY closed. So I had to drive to the locations HOLDING it shut myself.
Which is not good. Not good at all.
